Welcome to the heart of Toolflow! This guide will walk you through the key features that make our platform the ultimate solution for building your AI workforce without code.

Workspace

The Workspace is your command center. It's where all the magic happens: where you chat with your agents and watch them take action on your behalf.

Key aspects of the Workspace:

  • Interactive chat interface that feels familiar but does so much more than ordinary chat

  • Asset panel that automatically opens when tools are run or content is created

  • Visual feedback as your agents interact with your tools and apps

  • Context-aware assistance that remembers your previous conversations and preferences

Asset panel

When your agents create content like blog posts or when research tools gather information, the asset panel opens, giving you immediate access to these resources without interrupting your workflow.

You can close this via the "x" on the top right hand corner that appears on hover. Or open the assets panel by clicking "Assets" underneath the main chat box.

Marketplace

The Marketplace is where you'll find agents and tools that you've built, pre-built agents and tools other people have built, and our thousands of integrations.

What you'll find in the Marketplace:

  • Your personal collection of agents and tools

  • Toolflow-created resources built by our expert team

  • Community contributions from other innovative Toolflow users

  • Extensive integration library with 2,500+ apps and services

  • 10,000+ pre-built actions ready to be utilized by your agents

The Marketplace makes it easy to start with proven solutions and then customize them to your specific needs, saving you valuable time and effort.

Agent Builder

Located on the "Agent" page, the Agent Builder is where you breathe life into your AI workforce. Our no-code interface makes it simple to create powerful, purpose-driven agents.

With the Agent Builder, you can:

  • Select your preferred AI model to power your agent

  • Craft detailed system prompts that define your agent's personality and expertise

  • Add tools from our extensive library to give your agent capabilities

  • Connect knowledge sources so your agent can access your business information

  • Incorporate sub-agents for specialized tasks (coming soon)

The Agent Builder puts the power of AI development in your hands, no technical background required.

Tool Builder

Found on the "Tools" page, the Tool Builder takes your agents' capabilities to the next level. This visual, no-code canvas lets you create complex workflows that your agents can execute with a single command.

The Tool Builder allows you to:

  • Drag and drop functional blocks onto a visual canvas

  • Connect different language models for specialized processing

  • Incorporate external integrations from our extensive library

  • Chain multiple actions together in sophisticated sequences

  • Create reusable tools that can be shared across multiple agents

For example, instead of asking your agent to manually perform multiple research steps, you could pre-package a comprehensive research workflow that combines Perplexity searches with Google searches and custom data sources. This gives you more control over how your agents accomplish tasks.

Knowledge Base

The Knowledge Base is your agents' memory and reference library. It ensures your AI workforce has access to all the information specific to your task at hand.

This could be anything from company information about your products or services, to brand guidelines, data sources, lists of customers and more.

You can use knowledge in the following ways on Toolflow:

  1. Agent builder - attach knowledge to agents when you build them

  2. Workspace - Upload information live in your chats

  3. Agents - can retrieve or send knowledge by using the "retrieve knowledge" or "send to knowledge" tools

  4. Tools - Build tools with steps to retrieve or send knowledge

You can upload knowledge in several ways:

  • Upload documents and files manually from the Knowledge page in various formats like .txt, .doc, .docx and PDF. There is a 5MB maximum file size for documents.

  • Save important text snippets directly from agent chats

  • Send knowledge by using the "send to knowledge" tool, or by agents with access to the "send to knowledge" tool

  • Manually create an entry and type out your knowledge

  • Scrape knowledge from website links (coming soon)

  • Connecting external knowledge sources like Notion (coming soon)

We use Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) to search your knowledge base for relevant information when your agents need it.

If you need to connect to specific knowledge sources like Notion or Google Drive, contact us at [email protected] to discuss your requirements.

Automation

Toolflow isn't just about interactive conversations with agents. You can also automate repetitive tasks in the background.

Our automation capabilities include:

  • Native Zapier integration to trigger agents and tools based on external events

  • API access for developers to incorporate Toolflow into existing systems

  • Scheduled triggers to run agents at specific times

  • Event-based automation that responds to changes in your connected apps

  • Conditional workflows that make decisions based on specified criteria

This means your AI workforce can handle repetitive tasks automatically while still being available for real-time collaboration when you need more nuanced assistance.

Each of these core features works in harmony to create a platform where anyone can build, deploy, and benefit from powerful AI agents without technical expertise.
